A Sergeant and His Hammer
This is me with a hammer, next to a tent. Yes, we're on concrete. Yes, in an effort to see "if the tent will go up" we were ordered to drive tent spikes through said concrete. Yes, it was difficult. Yes, I'm in the Army.
No shit. See those red marks on the hammer? That's the paint off of the tent spikes.
What's more...we had to pound THROUGH the plastic flooring, thus cracking and weakening what will keep the scorpions and spiders from running amok in our tents.
